Vegas releases opening spreads for Week 8 B1G matchups

We are officially halfway finished with the 2019 regular season of college football!
It is hard to believe how far the season has come in just a little time, but the conference race is nearly set with contending teams separating from the pack. Week 7 yielded a number of key results, particularly with Wisconsin’s win over Michigan State and Penn State’s defeat of Iowa.
Entering Week 8, Penn State and Michigan square off in a key B1G East battle that is crucial for both teams. Elsewhere, Minnesota, Ohio State, and Wisconsin will also put undefeated records on the line.

With the season halfway over, every result carries even more weight and significance. Week 8 will definitely be another action-packed slate throughout the conference.
As teams settle into a week of preparation, here are the opening lines for every B1G game, courtesy of Vegas Insider:
- Ohio State (-27) vs Northwestern
- Indiana (-3.5) vs Maryland
- Iowa (-17.5) vs Purdue
- Wisconsin (-29.5) vs Illinois
- Minnesota (-30) vs Rutgers
- Penn State (-7.5) vs Michigan
