Milton Wright did not play football for Purdue in 2022 because he was academically ineligible. Perhaps for that reason or a multitude of others, the veteran WR in Wright announced Sunday that he will be entering the transfer portal.
Wright is dangerous when he’s on the field. He proved that in 2021, totaling 57 receptions for 732 yards and 7 touchdowns for the Boilermakers. He led the team in receiving touchdowns and was 2nd only to David Bell in total receiving yards.
And with Charlie Jones off to the NFL, losing that level of talent hurts the Boilermakers.
Purdue WR Milton Wright has entered the transfer portal, @247SportsPortal has learned. A four-star receiver from the 2019 class, Wright caught 57 passes for 732 yards and 7 TDs in 2021.

Nothing is official as of yet, but there seems to be a glaring transfer destination in Wright’s near future. The standout WR hails from Louisville, Kentucky and 2021 Purdue head coach Jeff Brohm recently accepted the HC position for the Louisville Cardinals in the ACC.
Should the Cardinals be looking for a top-notch receiver in the transfer portal, this one seems to be a no-brainer.
