Veteran Wisconsin offensive lineman set to transfer for his final season

Wisconsin is going to be without a key player from its offensive line moving forward.
Kayden Lyles has decided to transfer from the school for his final year of eligibility. He tweeted his decision out on his Twitter account and confirmed that he’s betting on himself with this move.
“With one year left of college football left in my future, I’ve decided to bet on myself and will be transferring to a new program for my final season of eligibility. My five years as part of the Wisconsin football program have given me some of the best times of my life and experiences I’ll never forget. Though my time as a Badger has come to an end, I’ll forever be thankful to the fans, coaches, staff, and – especially – to my teammates for all of their support. On, Wisconsin!”

Lyles played in 34 career games for Wisconsin, with a lot of them coming at center. He was part of the 2017 recruiting class and was rated as the No. 1 player in his home state (Wisconsin) and the No. 14 offensive line recruit in the country, per 247Sports Composite.
