All those first half struggles to move the football seem to fading in Champaign.

Illinois – which had just 99 yards of offense in the first two quarters – scored on its first possession of the second half, thanks to a big play by Kendrick Foster. On a 1st-and-10 play, Foster took a handoff 64 yards to put the Illini ahead 14-9 early in the third quarter.

Foster entered Saturday’s game with 450 yards and five TDs on 77 carries. The long carry put him over the century mark against Michigan State. It was also his second TD in the contest.
