The decision to cancel comes after the death of three UVA football players: Devin Chandler, Lavel Davis Jr. and D’Sean Perry.
This game would have been the Cavs’ final home game of the 2022 season. The last game of the season is still up in the air on whether or not it will be played against rival Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Va., scheduled for Nov. 26.
As of right now, ticket refund information for the Coastal Carolina game will be issued at another date.
A heartbreaking situation that leaves the college football community in mourning.
