Volun-tears: Sky banner calling for Jeremy Pruitt’s firing is circling Tennessee’s Neyland Stadium

Hey Vols fans, tell us how you really feel.
Jeremy Pruitt is under scrutiny to say the least, the Tennessee head coach seeing his seat become increasingly hotter following what was a disappointing season for the program. So much so that an airplane has been circling around Neyland Stadium on Tuesday with a very simple message:

For Pruitt, those are some unfriendly skies.
In three seasons in Knoxville, the Volunteers under Pruitt are 15-17 with a single bowl appearance (a Gator Bowl win in 2019 over Indiana). That is well below the standard, perhaps unreasonably so, held by Tennessee fans.
The Volunteers are 3-7 this past season and Tennessee fans, including a number of prominent boosters, want him out. So much so that they are willing to go a rather expensive route to drive their point home.
This past year, Greg Schiano managed the same number of wins in his first season back at Rutgers, one of the worst teams in college football over the past five years, for what it’s worth. That’s the same number of wins as Tennessee.
Zing. Zing.
Despite all this uncertainty around Pruitt, Tennessee still managed the sixth best recruiting class in the SEC and No. 15 in the nation. Now it is a matter of turning those star-rankings into wins.
