The Boilermakers struggled defensively until Lambert’s arrival this season. The Boilermakers defense has only given up 30 points 3 times this season.
Purdue potentially has a top draft pick in DE George Karlaftis in this year’s upcoming 2022 NFL Draft.
Purdue finished the season with a bowl win, the TransPerfect Music City Bowl against Tennessee 48-45 in OT. The Boilermakers finished the season 9-4 and 6-3 in B1G play. This is the best the Boilermakers have ever finished under head coach Jeff Brohm.
