Washington football’s social media crew didn’t take long to troll ESPN’s College GameDay crew following the Huskies’ 27-17 upset of defending national champion Michigan on Saturday night in Seattle.

Like, a few minutes after Washington took down Michigan with a big 4th-quarter rally in the title game rematch, the social media gang went to work. They tweeted out a picture of the ESPN GameDay crew all picking Michigan during Saturday morning’s pregame show, which just happened to be down the coast a little in Berkeley, California.

One by one, ESPN’s slew of announcers took Michigan to prevail at Husky Stadium. There was former Michigan star Desmond Howard, who naturally picked the Wolverines. Then there was Nick Saban, who’s in his 1st season as an ESPN analyst after coaching in his share of national title games like the one Michigan and Washington staged last season. Ironically, Saban could’ve prevented that matchup if his Alabama team hadn’t lost to Michigan in the Playoff semifinals, which turned out to be Saban’s final game as head coach of the Crimson Tide.

Marshawn Lynch, the former Cal star who was on the show since it was in Berkeley for the Miami-Cal showdown, also picked the Wolverines, shunning the college team from the city where he starred as a running back for the Seattle Seahawks.

It was a clean sweep for Michigan during the ESPN pick segment. Of course, the game went a little differently, as the Huskies got a little revenge for that loss to the Wolverines in the national championship game.
