Washington head coach Jimmy Lake is under some fire after his actions in Saturday night’s loss to Oregon.

There was an incident that occurred Saturday night that has everyone talking. Lake hit LB Ruperake Fuavai in the face mask and shoved him after he got into a verbal altercation with Oregon WR Jaylon Redd.

Here is a video of the incident down below:

Washington’s athletic director Jen Cohen had this to say about the incident on Saturday night.

“We are aware of an interaction b/w head coach Jimmy Lake & a student-athlete during the 1st half of Saturday’s game,” said Cohen, according to Brett McMurphy of the Action Network. “We have high expectations of the conduct of our coaches & we are working to gather more information on this matter.”

It’s unclear at the moment if there will be any consequences for Lake’s actions Saturday night. If that’s the case, we’ll likely hear about it soon.

Washington is now 4-5 on the season and will play hosts Arizona State next weekend at 7:00 ET on FS1.
