Former Ohio State defensive end Chase Young and ex-Michigan linebacker Khaleke Hudson were rivals during their college years, but are now teammates in Washington. During last week’s NFL Draft, the Redskins took Young in the first round with the No. 2 overall pick and selected Hudson in the fifth round.
Now that both players have joined the franchise, new jersey numbers are in store.
Washington revealed the new jersey numbers for all of its newest additions for the 2020 season. Young, who wore No. 2 while at Ohio State, will wear No. 99 with the Redskins. Hudson sported No. 7 at Michigan but will now be donning No. 47 on his back.

Young was considered the best defensive player in college football a season ago, while Hudson was one of the top linebackers in the B1G. After successful college careers, they’ll both attempt to make their mark in the NFL.
