Sitting at 5-5 (2-5), the Cougars need to win one of their final two games to qualify for a bowl game for the sixth time in Leach’s eight-year tenure.
Inheriting a program that had won just seven games over the previous three seasons (2015-17), Jonathan Smith is executing an impressive turnaround job in Corvallis. Also possessing a 5-5 record, the Beavers will likely need to win this game in Pullman to achieve bowl eligibility for the first time since the 2013 season as they face the No. 6 Oregon Ducks in the season finale, dubbed the Civil War.
Saturday’s action at Clarence D. Martin Stadium will kick at 9:00PM ET on the Pac-12 Network.
