It took 53 game minutes, but it finally happened.
New England was the first to reach the end zone in Super Bowl LIII, scoring on a two-yard run from Sony Michel with 7:00 left in the fourth quarter. The touchdown was the first for either team and gave the Patriots a 10-3 lead over the Rams.
The score was set up by a 29-yard pass from Tom Brady to Rob Gronkowski.

Super Bowl LIII was expected to be a game filled with offense. Instead, points have been incredibly difficult to come by.
While Michel was the one who crossed the goal line, Brady went 4-of-4 on the drive, helping lead the Patriots to the end zone.
