This is not the kind of night Appalachian State was hoping for as a ranked team.

The Mountaineers entered the week ranked on the AP Poll for the first time in school history. After nearly taking down Penn State in Happy Valley, the team reeled off five straight wins to enter the AP Poll at No. 25. Unfortunately, that will not last for long.

Nothing went right for App. State on the road against Georgia Southern as the Mountaineers lost their starting quarterback early in the game. Two backups would enter, but none were effective as they combined for four interceptions in the game. Georgia Southern would roll to a 34-14 upset Thursday night.

One of the interceptions came at an interesting time and led to a funny but NSFW reaction from Jalin Moore. The injured running back was being interviewed by the ESPN broadcast when one pass was picked off.

His frustrated reaction may be understandable, but you can’t say that on live TV:
