Sometimes it’s hard to make it to that final kickoff on a Saturday night after a day full of college football. And only the most loyal fans would stay awake for a matchup between Cal and Arizona.
But those who did witnessed something unique.
Late in the third quarter, Arizona recorded an interception off a tipped pass and was headed toward the end zone. While weaving in and out of defenders, a Cal player was able to poke the ball free, sending it high into the air. Fortunately for the Wildcats, it was recovered by another Arizona player who then sprinted to the end zone.

The touchdown gave Arizona a 17-14 lead. The Wildcats went on to post a 24-17 victory over Cal.
It pays to stay up and watch the really late games every now and then. Although this was really the only highlight from the game.
