A new Maryland football era is about to begin.
Terrapins football the past few years has looked a certain way and tragedies have taken place that many could only dream to erase from existence. Now, though, Mike Locksley is the new head coach.
And with him, of course, come new recruits. Locksley even got a transfer QB to come in from Virginia Tech in Josh Jackson. Jackson may be the starter in 2019 as a redshirt junior.
However, what about life after Jackson? How will the program build once Locksley starts getting multiple classes of his guys on board?
Look no further than freshman QB Lance LeGendre. LeGendre is regarded as a 4-star prospect by 247Sports and ranks as the No. 9 dual-threat QB in his class.
LeGendre is also about to get a bit of fame thrown his way. On Wednesday, Netflix released a trailer for the third season of QB1: Beyond the Lights.
LeGendre is one of three QBs featured in the series that is set to be released on Friday, August 16.
