Ohio State-Cincinnati is one of the more intriguing games in the Week 2 slate.

In the non-conference portion of the schedule, few games stand out. For both of these teams, this is a game they were likely looking forward to. The in-state rivalry may not be nationally publicized, but in the state of Ohio, these two schools don’t like each other.

In the first half, Ohio State got out to a 7-0 lead and then Cincinnati was looking to respond. The Bearcats drove down the field, but got stopped on Ohio State’s 16-yard-line.

Cincinnati elected to kick a field goal and make it a 7-3 game. At least, that was the thought.
