Chris Ash has Rutgers on a pretty nice winning streak right now. Well, at least that’s how fans in Piscataway are looking at it.

After losing his first 11 games in B1G play, Ash and the Scarlet Knights have won their last two conference games, beating Illinois and Purdue. That miniature win streak has Ash excited.

Late in the fourth quarter and leading 14-6, Rutgers allowed Purdue to score on a pass from David Blough to Anthony Mahoungou. It was an incredible play that got the Boilermakers within a two-point conversion from forcing overtime. But the Scarlet Knight defense held strong and forced an incompletion, essentially sealing the win.

Ash was ecstatic after the pass hit the turf and had one of the best celebrations you’ll see:

After a few miserable losses, you can understand why Ash is so happy after back-to-back victories.

Rutgers improved to 3-4 on the season with the win and is now 2-2 in the B1G.

Next week, the Scarlet Knights will try to make it three-straight wins, a task that’ll be much more difficult against a tougher Michigan team.
