D.J. Knox might’ve had the most impressive run of the season for Purdue.

Early in the first quarter, Knox took a pitch from quarterback David Blough and was quickly met by a few Illinois defenders. But the running back put on a nifty spin moved and powered through a tackle with nothing but green grass in front of him.

He took it 33 yards for the touchdown to give the Boilermakers an early 7-0 lead over the Illini.

Knox entered the game as Purdue’s top ball-carrier, rushing for 302 yards on 50 attempts. This was his first rushing touchdown of the season. He did have one touchdown reception.
