Game over.
Honestly, the game was over before Damon Arnette made an impressive interception and returned it 97 yards for a touchdown, but what little ounce of hope Indiana had in its B1G opener against Ohio State was crushed in that moment.
Ohio State was holding a 44-10 advantage with one play left in the third quarter. IU quarterback Peyton Ramsey threw an ill-advised pass into traffic and Arnette was there to make the pick. He then raced down the field 97 yards for the score.
It gave the Buckeyes a 51-10 lead in Bloomington.

Arnette’s draft stock is rising quite a bit after three games into the season, isn’t it?
Many thought Indiana might give Ohio State a run for its money, but the Buckeyes dominated the Hoosiers from start to finish in Bloomington. OSU was nearly flawless on both sides of the football.
Arnette’s pick-six was the exclamation point.
