WATCH: David Blough gives Purdue early lead over Mizzou with beautiful dime

This is one heck of a throw by Purdue QB David Blough.
It is very early in the game, but the Boilermakers certainly look intent on putting last week’s loss to Eastern Michigan squarely behind them. The team is off to a hot start on both sides of the ball against Missouri, and Blough capped the first offensive possession with a beautiful pass.
Purdue began the game on the defensive side of the ball, and the unit did its part by holding the Tigers to a field goal. After receiving the ensuing kickoff, it took the Boilermakers just three completions to march down the field and take the lead.
Blough accounted for all 86 yards through the air and finished the drive with an absolute dime to Terry Wright in the back of the end zone. Wright made sure to get one foot down inbound to secure the early lead.
