Mike Tomlin loves defensive players from Michigan. That’s a big reason why the Pittsburgh Steelers took linebacker Devin Bush Jr. with the No. 10 pick in the 2019 NFL Draft.
That pick already appears to be paying off.
During the Steelers’ camp, Pittsburgh went running backs vs. linebackers and rookie vs. rookie challenge, pitting Bush against former Kentucky ball carrier Benny Snell. The two went toe-to-toe a couple times, but the first drill between the two went the way of Bush.
The former Michigan linebacker showed off his power and speed, plowing over Snell. Below is the video:

Bush was the B1G Defensive Player of the Year last season and was also named the conference’s top linebacker. It didn’t take long for him to showcase his skills during Steelers camp, either.
We’ll see what kind of damage Bush can do in the NFL this season soon. Pittsburgh begins the 2019 preseason on Friday, Aug. 9 against Tampa Bay.
