Donovan Peoples-Jones is proving to be a real weapon for Michigan even as a true freshman.
In the third quarter of Saturday’s game against Air Force, Peoples-Jones fielded an Air Force punt, hoping to get the Wolverines good field position to begin its next drive. But after blowing past a few defenders, the freshman receiver decided he’d just punch it into the end zone himself.
Peoples-Jones was able to tightrope the sideline on his way to a 79-yard punt return.

That was the first touchdown for Peoples-Jones in a Michigan uniform.
He’s already living up to that five-star ranking and his flashing some real potential early in his career.
