The first couple weeks of the 2018 season went Ohio State’s way in dominating fashion.

The Buckeyes beat up on Oregon State 77-31 and then followed that up with a 52-3 victory over Rutgers. Those two wins were expected.

Then, the first real test took place: a meeting with TCU in Texas. Ohio State passed.

The Buckeyes won the game 40-28, and while there were some hiccups, the team scored 20 points in roughly a 4-minute span while down by 8 in the third quarter. It showed heart and ability, which are both needed in order to potentially win a national title.

Up next for the team is a matchup against Tulane at Ohio Stadium. Again, the Buckeyes are highly favored. But following the 12-point win over the Horned Frogs, Ohio State QB Dwayne Haskins was asked what’s different about the team.

Simply, confidence:

And Ohio State should be confident. Beating the No. 17 team in the country by double-digits in primetime at a massive venue on the road is huge.

The only thing that’s left to do now is keep winning, which the Buckeyes surely feel confident about.
