Sam Hubbard made his presence felt Sunday afternoon!
The former Ohio State Buckeye and rookie DE for the Cincinnati Bengals is off to a solid start in the NFL. Hubbard had two TFL, a QB hit, and a sack over his first four games of the season, and he found a way to score a touchdown against the Miami Dolphins this week.
The play began when the Bengals’ defense flushed Miami QB Ryan Tannehill out of the pocket. Tannehill fumbled the ball as he was hit from behind, and Hubbard quickly scooped up the ball.
Hubbard returned the fumble 19 yards for what would prove to be a game-clinching score. The Bengals were clinging to a slim, three-point lead late in the fourth, and Hubbard’s touchdown proved to be a clutch score for the rookie.
