You don’t typically see a linebacker hauling in touchdown passes on a regular basis, but that’s what one Ohio State commit did on Friday night.
Dallas Gant, a four-star linebacker, hauled in two touchdown catches in his team’s season opening game Friday, showing off his athleticism and versatility.
Unfortunately, the touchdown catches weren’t enough, as his Toledo St. Johns Jesuit team dropped the Week 1 matchup to Temperance. Still, Gant had an impressive night:

Gant is just one member of Ohio State’s top-ranked recruiting class and is regarded as the fifth-best player from Ohio. He’s also ranked as the No. 8 linebacker in the 2018 class and has an overall ranking of 137th.
The Ohio native has 22 offers, including seven out of the B1G. He committed to the Buckeyes back in May.
