Things have become scarily close in Minnesota!
The Gophers are taking on Georgia Southern in a game that they were favored by two scores coming into. Unfortunately, Southern showed up ready to play with its triple-option attack.
Minnesota has been in a close battle all game long, and things got even closer on this play. The Gophers were lining up for a field goal to make it an 11-point game. However, the Eagles had other ideas in mind.
Georgia Southern blocked the kick and scooped up the ball before returning it all the way for six points. It looks like the Gophers are in for another nail-biting ending to start the season:
