A quarterback named Jeff George is starting for the Illinois Fighting Illini again. But it isn’t Jeff George Sr., it is Jeff George Jr.
On Tuesday, Oct. 3, coach Lovie Smith announced that George Jr. will be the Illini’s starting quarterback going forward. And on Tuesday, George Jr. had a post-practice interview in which he talked about his mindset on being a starter and the upcoming Iowa game.
