Michigan State and Illinois both need a win. Badly.
Saturday’s noon kickoff between a pair of 2-6 teams will eliminate one team from bowl eligibility while the other stays alive for at least another week. In hopes of giving the Illini a boost of momentum heading into Saturday’s contest, Illinois released a hype video on Friday afternoon:

Michigan State is still searching for its first conference victory. Illinois is 1-4 in B1G play, with the lone win coming against Rutgers.
The game is scheduled to kickoff at 12:00 PM EST in Champaign and will air on ESPN News.
