For the second time in two days, Indiana head coach Tom Allen has surprised a walk-on player by awarding him with a scholarship.
In the team meeting room, Allen started ripping into walk-on tight end Ryan Wattercutter in front of his teammates. Allen legitimately looked upset and acted as if his tight end was in hot water.

Wattercutter is beginning his junior season with the Hoosiers and has appeared in one game over the past two seasons. He was named the team’s scout player of the year at the end of the 2016 season.
Before Wattercutter made the transition to tight end last season, he had joined Indiana as a linebacker.
