The Outback Bowl between Iowa and Mississippi State has been an action-filled one.
The first quarter saw three field goals, which wasn’t as thrilling. However, the next two quarters have provided the entertainment we’ve been looking for. Whether it’s been odd punts, targeting ejections or continuous turnovers, this game has had it all.
Late in the third quarter, after Mississippi State scored 13 points in 18 seconds, Iowa’s Chauncey Golston picked off a pass to give the Hawkeyes possession on the Bulldogs’ 32-yard-line.
Following a fourth-and-one conversion thanks to QB Nate Stanley and his legs, he showed off his arm with his third TD pass of the game:

Going into the fourth quarter, Iowa leads 24-19 and Stanley has 14-of-20 passes for 157 yards with 3 TD and 1 INT. Both teams have turned the ball over twice to this point.
