Two of the best tight ends in college football are back at it.

Trailing Purdue by two scores un the third quarter, Iowa’s offense needed a spark to close the gap on the Boilermakers. Noah Fant and T.J. Hockenson answered the call.

First, a short pass from Nate Stanley to Fant turned into a 65-yard gain for the Hawkeyes, as the tight end embarrassed the Purdue defense. A few plays later, Hockenson hauled in a four-yard catch in the end zone to pull Iowa within a score.

The touchdown catch was the fourth for Hockenson on the season.

Iowa’s tight ends have been spectacular all season. It’s been no different in West Lafayette.
