The 2018 college football season is here, Iowa fans.
And with that, comes the best tradition in all of sports. Sure, the wave with the University of Iowa Stead Family Children’s Hospital is a newer one, but that doesn’t make it any less special.
At the end of the first quarter during each home game, the Iowa Hawkeyes wave to the kids at the hospital, who of course, wave back. It’s a tradition that should never go away.
Take a look at the wave that took place on Saturday when Iowa and Northern Illinois were tied at zero going into the second quarter:
