James Franklin isn’t too happy after a loss. He’s even less happy when his players show poor sportsmanship.

Following a game-winning field goal by Michigan State, Penn State players were shaking hands with the Spartans before heading into the locker room. One player, however, tried to sneak off the field without congratulating MSU on the win.

Franklin wasn’t having any of that.

Once the Penn State head coach noticed one of his players was walking off the field, he sprinted off the field — and I do mean sprinted — caught up with the player and yelled “go shake hands!”

That kid is probably going to get an earful when he gets back into the locker room.

Saturday’s defeat was the second-straight for the Nittany Lions, who are now 7-2 on the season. And as unhappy as Franklin is about the last two weekends, he’s even more disappointed in how one of his players reacted to the loss.
