Do not take anything for granted when taking on a service academy on the football field.
By now, everyone is well aware of Army and their brand of football. The Black Knights run the unique triple-option offense that can cause plenty of problems. The run-heavy attack can grind down opponents and control time of possession on any given Saturday.
Jim Harbaugh’s squad knows the offense is a challenge and has been preparing for it for quite some time now. After dispatching Middle Tennessee in Week 1, the Wolverines are now ready to show they can put Army away.
To their credit, many Wolverines have spoken highly of the challenge they are facing this weekend. No one is looking to take the Black Knights for granted come kickoff.

Still, everyone knows football games can change in an instant. And according to analyst Joel Klatt, the Wolverines better be prepared or they could be in for a surprise:
“It’s an attack that’s hard to stop,” explained Klatt. “You know…Army runs that triple-option style of offense. Tough to prepare for…Remember: the last time Army lost was in Norman, Oklahoma to an eventual Playoff team in which they took Oklahoma to overtime in that game…That ball control, if Michigan’s not careful, they could find themselves in a bit of a dogfight Saturday.”
