Ohio State has been dominant through the first two weeks of the season. Regardless of how truly talented you believe the Buckeyes are this season, it’s hard to deny how impressive the team has been in its first two victories.
The fourth-ranked Buckeyes have put up 77 points and 52 points against two Power Five opponents, and have won those two games and have a 47.5-point average margin of victory.
Those are just two reasons why FOX Sports college football analyst Joel Klatt believes Ohio State has been one of the most dominant teams in the sport this season.
Klatt joined BTN on Wednesday to talk about his latest rankings and where he’d place Ohio State in that group. The analyst has the Buckeyes slated in the No. 3 spots, thanks to those big wins over Oregon State and Rutgers.
“It’s very clear to me that Ohio State has been more dominant than even Georgia has in this season,” Klatt said. “I like to rank teams based on what I’ve seen, not based on what I think during the summer.”
Ohio State has been nearly impossible to stop and has been able to move the ball down the field any way it has wanted. The Buckeyes will face a much tougher test on Saturday, as they head to Texas to take on No. 15 TCU.
