Even after Ohio State’s 26-6 win over Michigan State on Saturday, improving to 9-1 on the season, there’s some concern over the Buckeyes’ talent level this season.

Joel Klatt is telling Ohio State fans to calm down. He says there’s absolutely no reason to panic.

Since the 49-20 loss to Purdue, fans and several media outlets have become wary of Ohio State’s ability to compete for a B1G title and a spot in the College Football Playoff. But if the Buckeyes defeat Maryland next week, they’ll enter the final week of the season with a 10-1 record and a chance to win the B1G East.

Pretty good for a team in a “funk.”

Klatt pointed to Ohio State’s success running the football against the Spartans on Saturday as a primary reason to breathe a little easier. The Buckeyes have also looked better defensively after the last two weeks.

While it’s fair to argue that this Ohio State may not be the best of the Urban Meyer era, it’s still enjoying a really nice season.

You can view the full video of Klatt’s plea to Ohio State fans below. The FOX college football analyst makes some really good points.
