WATCH: Joey Galloway, Jesse Palmer rank their Top 5 CFB teams

We’re entering a new month of college football. And when October comes to an end, we’ll have our first CFB Playoff rankings of the 2018 season.
That’s still four weeks away though. And as impatient college football fans, we want some of that insight now. So ESPN analysts Jesse Palmer and Joey Galloway granted our request.
Palmer and Galloway listed their top five teams headed into the month of October, giving us a good idea of who they believe is in the CFB Playoff picture. After Saturday’s big win over Penn State, Ohio State getting respect from the two analysts.
The Buckeyes were in the top four for both Palmer and Galloway, though in different spots. Palmer had Ohio State all the way at No. 2 while Galloway had the Buckeyes at No. 3.
