Michigan did it.

The Wolverines defeated the Spartans on Saturday at Spartan Stadium and gained even more respect. Michigan was the No. 6 team in the country coming into the game and now the Wolverines surely won’t be moving down in anybody’s mind.

Part of the reason Michigan won 21-7 was certainly its defense. Michigan State didn’t even garner 100 total yards in the game.

But another reason was Wolvernes RB Karan Higdon. Higdon ran it 33 times for 144 yards against the Spartans defense. Running a player 33 times shows exactly what a team wants to do — and that is dominate physically.

After the 14-point win, Higdon spoke with the media and wasn’t going to shy away from how he felt. The 5-foot-10 senior was going to speak exactly what was on his mind:

Yeah, Higdon’s amped up. As he should be.

Michigan just beat Michigan State.
