Lee Corso was given rock-star treatment upon arriving in State College on Saturday morning.

The beloved college football analyst for ESPN’s College GameDay wanted to start Saturday’s show in Happy Valley with a bang. So thanks to the help of the fans in attendance, Corso went surfing in a “Sea of White,” which was met with unbelievable excitement.

Corso had a surfing partner, as he was side-by-side with the Nittany Lion mascot. It was one of the more memorable openings to the popular pre-game show this season.

Eventually, Corso surfed his way back onto the College GameDay set and was able to give his thoughts on this evening’s game between Michigan and Penn State, as well as several other games in Week 8.

This could be one of the top moments of College GameDay in the 2017 season.
