Ty Johnson is really fast. He showcased his speed again on Saturday in Maryland’s home opener against Towson.

Midway through the first quarter, Johnson took a simple handoff and turned it into a long scoring play after racing past Towson defenders to the end zone. The defense never had a chance to catch him.

It was a 74-yard touchdown run for the speedy ball-carrier.

Maryland was thumping Towson early in the first quarter and Johnson’s touchdown gave the Terrapins a 21-0 lead midway through the opening quarter.
