WATCH: Michigan State CB records first career pick-six vs. Bowling Green
Michigan State already had a sizeable lead on Bowling Green late in the third quarter. Just for good measure, though, Spartans cornerback Tyson Smith thought he’d give his team a little more cushion.
On a second down play in the third quarter, Smith stepped in front of a pass and returned it all the way to the end zone. It was the first interception of the CB’s career:

Smith has played in 15 games during his career in East Lansing, accounting for 18 tackles and five passes defended.
The pick-six gave the Spartans a 35-3 advantage over Bowling Green.
