Big Ten Network’s Tailgate show headed to East Lansing this weekend, highlighting Saturday’s B1G clash between Iowa and Michigan State. That, of course, meant the crew would get a visit from head coach Mark Dantonio.
The Spartans head coach talked about quarterback play, his team’s performance during the non-conference season and discussed Saturday’s matchup against the Hawkeyes.
Here’s what Dantonio had to say on BTN Tailgate:

Iowa-Michigan State is a quietly one of the more interesting games on the schedule this weekend. Both teams are coming off disappointing losses last week and there are plenty of implications associated with this matchup. A Michigan State loss could put Dantonio on the hot seat. An Iowa loss could eliminate the Hawkeyes from the title race early in the season.
The Spartans and Hawkeyes are scheduled to kickoff at 4 p.m. ET and the game will be aired on FOX.
