Facing a fourth down with less than three minutes left, Michigan State needed to make a play to stay alive in the game.
R.J. Shelton made that play.
On a day when injuries were rampant and second and third string players needed were forced to step up, Spartans third-string quarterback Damian Terry launched a pass into the back of the end zone. From first glance, it looked like the ball would sail out of bounds. Instead, receiver R.J. Shelton made an incredible grab to give Michigan State a 27-24 lead late in the fourth quarter.
Nice throw, @DamionTerry.
