WATCH: Michigan’s Khaleke Hudson ejected from SMU game for targeting

Michigan will be without one defender for the rest of the SMU game.
Wolverines LB Khaleke Hudson was ejected for targeting for this hit against the Mustangs. It does appear that Hudson was a bit reckless on his tackle attempt and definitely made contact to the helmet of the SMU player.
Michigan has opened up a bit of a lead over the Mustangs in the second half, but the ejection also comes with a suspension. Hudson will have to sit out the first half of next week’s conference game against Nebraska. The Wolverines should still be favored in that game after Nebraska lost to Troy, and hopefully Hudson’s absence will be a minor setback.
