WATCH: Minnesota defender comes up with spectacular interception

In the third quarter, a pass from Middle Tennessee quarterback John Urzua was batted around a few times by Minnesota defenders and looked like the ball would fall to the turf. That’s when Gophers’ defender Colton Beebe swooped in and made an incredible play.

Middle Tennessee is going to have nightmares about this Minnesota defense for weeks.
Beebe’s interception was his first of the season and the second of the day for the Gophers. Jacob Huff returned an interception for a touchdown in the second quarter.
