Minnesota is 2-0 overall, and it may not be the most impressive start to a season, but the Golden Gophers are still unbeaten.
Many teams across the country wish they could say the same. For Week 3, Minnesota is hosting Georgia Southern for its final non-conference game of the season.
Following an early Georgia Southern score, Minnesota responded with a touchdown of its own. Quarterback Tanner Morgan found wide receiver Tyler Johnson on a slant route and Johnson broke free for a 73-yard score.
Take a look:
Longest Gopher TD since Morgan-Bateman at Illinois last year. Johnson's longest catch ever and he has a catch in 26 straight games.

As Minnesota football tweeted, this was Johnson’s longest catch of his career and he has now registered a reception is 26 straight games. Minnesota has play-makers on the outside.
It’s just up to Morgan to utilize them — and he certainly did on this play.
