The Minnesota Golden Gophers have only played one game this season and their wide receiver Tyler Johnson has already matched his 2016 output.
During Minnesota’s game against the Buffalo Bulls last week, Johnson caught six passes for 141 yards and a score. Those were his exact numbers in 2016, but with 14 catches.
A lot of analysts called that Johnson’s breakout game. This past week during Oregon State prep, Johnson was asked about his breakout game and he gave credit to the person who helped him the most this offseason.
