WATCH: Minnesota reveals slick helmets with intense video for Week 2

When it comes to logos featuring animals, Minnesota has one of the best in college football, and it will again be displayed proudly on the team’s helmet when they play at Fresno State on Saturday.
Minnesota released its uniform combination along with the helmet in a Week 2 hype video late Friday night.

As Minnesota fans are aware, Goldy Gopher has been a major part of the football history in the Twin cities for well more than half a century and became the school’s official mascot in 1940.
Minnesota will take on Fresno State on the road Saturday night with kickoff coming at 10:30 pm ET. The Golden Gophers are 1-0 after beating South Dakota State in the season opener, 28-21, last Thursday.
