WATCH: Minnesota unveils behind-the-scenes look at $166 million ‘Athletes Village’

Minnesota recently opened the doors on its brand new ‘Athletes Village’ campus complex for its student-athletes.

This week, the school issued a promotional video showcasing the what exactly can get accomplished when $166 million goes into a campus project at Minnesota.

In the video, Gopher head coach P.J. Fleck talks about just how important this facility is for Minnesota student-athletes, as well as the school’s future student-athletes.

“The first thing that we always talk about when we’re talking with student-athletes, whether you’re here or we’re recruiting you, is to provide a world-class experience. What the student-athlete village does is that it encompasses all of that, and that’s what’s really special about this. It isn’t just a football complex, it’s a life complex.”
