Nebraska has certainly been on the wrong side of one too many interceptions-turned-touchdowns through the first six weeks of the season. But the defense was finally scored one of its own.
To start the third quarter, Alex Hornibrook was hoping to hit a short pass and allow his receiver to make a play in space. Instead, Huksers’ defender Aaron Williams stepped in front of the pass and recorded a pick-six to knot the game at 17-17.

Hornibrook has played well through most of the season but made a critical mistake on that play.
Wisconsin was nearly a two-touchdown favorite in this game but the Huskers have been tough in Lincoln. That pick-six was further proof that Nebraska isn’t going to make this easy for the Badgers.
